(Le premier volume en toile moderne avec dos et premier plat d'origine rapportés, toile du second volume légèrement défraîchie.) Tirage limité à 1400 exemplaires numérotés, celui-ci sur vélin. Superbe ouvrage Illustré de 13 eaux-fortes, 21 héliogravures, 2 gravures typographiques en noir et or, 10 chromolithographies et 18 aquarelles reproduites en chromotypographie, dont la plupart portent la signature de Firmin GILLOT, inventeur du procédé. Henri GUERARD (1846-1897), peintre et graveur, en signant la plupart des gravures de l'ouvrage, imposa son talent et contribua à l'épanouissement du japonisme en France. (The first volume in modern fabric with back and first brought back dish of origin, fabric of the second volume slightly soiled.) Pulling limited to 1400 specimens numbered, this one on vellum. Superb Illustrated work of 13 etchings, 21 photogravures, 2 typographical engravings in black and gold, 10 chromolithographies and 18 aquarelles reproduced in chromotypography, of which the majority carry the signature of Firmin GILLOT, inventor of the process. Henri GUERARD (1846-1897), painter and engraver, by signing the majority of engravings of the work, imposed his talent and contributed to the blooming of the japonism in France.
